Resting on the slopes of the majestic Mayon Volcano, occupying a land area of 12,210.4 sq. hectares, lorded over by the peaks of Masaraga Mountain and by the city of Ligao on the southwest, Tabaco’s southern border is hemmed in by the picturesque town of Malilipot. Its northern portion is bounded by the vast rice fields of Malinao in the northeast, by the Lagonoy Gulf and Tabaco Bay. Tabaco’s coastline is located on the protective cove which bears its name and whose mouth opens between the coasts of Natunauan and the historic San Miguel Island.
