AN EXECUTIVE ORDER APPROVING THE TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF THE MOUNT MAYON PARK ROAD FROM BUANG JUNCTION TO MAYON SKYLINE HOTEL RELATIVE TO THE CONDUCT OF THE TRADITIONAL “PENETENCIA SA MAYON” FROM 12 NOON OF 13 APRIL 2017 TO 6:00 A.M. OF 14 APRIL 2017.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlunsod of Tabaco passed SP Resolution No. 270-2017, a resolution informing the Albay First Engineering District (DPWH) of the Temporary Closure of Mount Mayon Park Road from 12:00 noon of April 13, 2017 to 6:00 A.M. of April 14, 2017;
WHEREAS,Section 21 ( c ) of R.A. 7160 vests upon the Chief Local Executive the power to issue directives pertinent to the duration of temporary closure of national or local road, alley, park or square during an actual emergency, fiesta celebrations, public rallies, agricultural and industrial fairs, or an undertaking of public works and highways, telecommunications and waterworks projects;
NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of the power vested upon me by section 455, b, 2, ii of R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the local government code of 1991, I, CIELO KRISEL LAGMAN-LUISTRO, City Mayor of Tabaco City, do ORDER the Temporary Closure of the Mount Mayon Park Road from Buang Junction to Mayon Skyline Hotel from 12:00 noon of 13 April 2017 (Maundy Thursday) to 6:00 A.M. of 14 April 2017 (Good Friday).
Repealing clause. All local orders, directives and issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with this executive order are hereby repealed and modified accordingly.
