EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 027, SERIES OF 2016

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER ORGANIZING THE CITY URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING BOARD (MUDHB)

WHEREAS, the Urban Development and Housing Act of 1992 (RA 7279) states that there is a need to establish or create and Urban Development and Housing Board that will oversee the implementation of Socialized Housing Projects in the LGU either funded by local, provincial, national government of foreign source and by other agencies, for the urban poor and bonafide residents of the town who are homeless and underprivileged and who are potential socialized housing beneficiaries;

WHEREAS, Section 18, Republic Act 7160, provides that LGUs shall have the power and authority to establish an organization (underscoring supplied) that shall be responsible for the priorities: to acquire, develop, lease, encumber, alienate or otherwise dispose of real or personal property held by them in their propriety capacity, and to apply their resources and assets for productive, developmental or welfare purpose, in the exercise or furtherance of their governmental or proprietary powers and functions.

NOW THEREFORE, I, CIELO KRISEL LAGMAN-LUISTRO by the power vested in me as the City Mayor of Tabaco City, Albay do hereby Organize the City Urban Development and Housing Board with the following composition.

Chairman                   –  City Mayor Cielo Krisel Lagman-Luistro

V-Chairman                  –  City Councilor Luis Renir Burce

Members                       –   Engr. Noel Bonaobra

• Cristina Bonagua, OIC-CSWDO

• Preciosisima Tango, LMB Representative
• Maricon De Los Reyes, NGO Representative
• Renato Arjona, PNR Core Property Recipient’s Group

As such, all the above-named members/representatives of this body shall ensure that pertinent guidelines and relevant provisions are strictly observed and complied with.

This order shall take effect immediately.
