MOA Signing between DepEd & Bankilingan for the establishment of Barangay Outpost at TNHS

Witnessed the MOA signing by and between the Department of Education through OIC SDS Dr. Mariano De Guzman and Barangay Bankilingan headed by Hon. Efren Duroy for the temporary use of 60 square meters vacant portion of Tabaco National High School for the proposed establishment and construction of Barangay Outpost. Barangay Bankilingan shall be assigning barangay peace keepers to the outpost to manage the flow of traffic, provide security to the community and ensure the safety of the students of TNHS and Tabaco Northwest ES and to quickly respond to any emergencies and public disturbances. Tabaco Distributes Educational Assistance to 100 College Students

    Release of Educational Assistance worth three hundred thousand pesos (P300,000.00) to one hundred (100) college students of Tabaco City through the office of CSWD. These students have undergone assessment and interview to determine if they were eligible to avail the service. This program was funded through the general fund of CSWD amounting to P150,000.00 with additional fund of P150,000.00 from the Gender and Development Office. Operation Linis Kalsada

  Tabaco City’s compliance and on-going road clearing of illegal structures and constructions pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-121 stating that all local officials are enjoined to reclaim public road which are being used for private ends and in the process, rid them of illegal structures and constructions. LGUs are also encouraged to develop and implement strategies to address the displacement issues caused by the implementation of the directives. Tabaco City ranked 29th all over the country during the conduct of Batang Pinoy National Championships in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

Presentation of medallists during the recently concluded Batang Pinoy National Championships in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan last August 25-31, 2019. Tabaco City bagged 6 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze medals respectively. Out of one hundred seventy-four LGUs all over the Philippines that partook during the said sporting event, LGU Tabaco ranked 29th and top rank out of seven participating LGUs from the Bicol Region. Distribution of Cash Incentives to graduated grade six pupils and grade ten completers with high honor

Distribution of cash incentives amounting to Php 469,000.00 to graduated grade six pupils and grade ten completers of the different public elementary and secondary schools of Tabaco City. Aside from the incentives to sports medallists, we are also giving incentives to diligent Tabaqueño students with high honor to encourage others to follow such achievements. Tabaco City observes Linggo ng Kabataan through the Sangguniang Kabataan City Federation (SKCF) that commenced last August 10 until the 18th of the month. The Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan in every barangay, municipality, city and province on the week where the 12th of August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day (IYD). Through this, the Tabaco City SKCF have organized activities to highlight the 2019 International Youth Day theme “Transforming Education” aiming to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The Department of Social Welfare and Development with the assistance of Tabaco City Social Welfare and Development continuous its educational assistance to indigent Tabaqueño students. Below are the names of the recipients and the schedule of final assessment.
