AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4 (1), 4 (4a) AND 4 (4d) OF ORDINANCE N0. 009-2015 ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE URBAN AND RURAL POOR AFFAIRS OFFICE (URPAO) OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF TABACO AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREOF”.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tabaco enacted Ordinance No. 009-2015 which established the Urban and Rural Poor Affairs Office (URPAO) of the City Government;
WHEREAS, there is a need to correct the position titles of the head of office form Community Development officer IV (SG 22) to Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer V (SG 22) and the position title of Social Welfare and Development Officer I (SG 11) to Social Welfare Officer I (SG 11) to conform with Local Budget Circular No. 61, s 1996 issued by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM);
NOW, THEREFORE on motion of Hon. Borejon, duly seconded and subsequently approved by the body
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tabaco City in regular session assembled, that:
Section 1. Section 4 (1) is hereby amended and to read as follows:
Section 4. Organizational Structure.
- The Head of Office of the Urban and Rural Affairs Office (URPAO) shall have the position of Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer V (SG 22) an shall have as its staff, lower level positions, to wit:
- Engineer II (SG 16)
- Architect (SG 16)
- Social Welfare Officer (SG 11)
- Draftsman I (SG 6)
Section 2. Section 4 (4a) and Section 4 (4d) are hereby amended and to read as follows:
4) The position titles with the corresponding minimum qualification standards and salary grade shall be used in the classification of the technical positions for the URPAO, to wit:
- Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer V (SG 22)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three (3) years of relevant experience
- Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training
- Career Service professional/ 2nd Level Eligibility)
- Social Welfare Officer I (SG 11)
- Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
- Relevant experience none required
- Relevant training none required
- Career Service professional/ 2nd Level Eligibility)
Section 3. Separability Clause. If, for any reason or reasons, any part or provision of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid, other parts or provisions hereof which are not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Section 4. Repealing Clause. All ordinances, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, in conflict with or inconsistent to the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed of modified accordingly.
Section 10. Effectivity Clause. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
