EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.  10, SERIES OF 2017

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER FILLING UP THE VACANCIES OCCURRING IN THE BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC)

WHEREAS, there are vacancies occurring in the membership of the BAC, BAC-TWG and BAC Secretariat on account of the resignation and retirement from service of two (2) members;

WHEREAS, under Section 11, Rule V of the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 9184, the Head of the Procuring Entity shall designate the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Members of the BAC who shall organize the TWG and BAC Secretariat subject to the concurrence of the Head of the Procuring Entity;

NOW THEREFORE By virtue of the power vested upon me by Section 11, Article V of R.A. 9184 in relation to Section 455, b, 2, ii of R.A. 7160, I, CIELO KRISEL LAGMAN-LUISTRO, City Mayor of Tabaco City do hereby DESIGNATE the following to compose the BAC and order the following:

Section I.  BAC Membership

Chairman          :       Atty. JOVITO CODERIS, JR, City Legal Officer

Vice Chairman  :       RICARDO ARJONA, Project Development Officer I

Members          :       Engr. Dindo Bongalosa, OIC- City Engineer

Sherry A. Trilles, OIC City Budget Office

Arch. Frank Bite, OIC- City Architect

Section II. BAC-TWG and Secretariat

The BAC shall then organize the BAC-TWG and BAC Secretariat and pursuant to applicable law, rules and regulations, promulgate/adopt an internal rules of procedures that shall govern the bidding process and other BAC transactions.  The members of the BAC-TWG shall be chosen on the basis of their field of expertise that could be of value in the procurement of goods, infrastructure and services. The designated members of the BAC-TWG and BAC Secretariat shall be submitted to the Head of Procuring entity for concurrence.

Section III. Repealing Clause

All orders, directives and issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with this executive order are hereby repealed and modified accordingly.
